		<description>Laura: as I see it, God uses the whole family experience as a kind of two-step process.  

First, you get married, and feel like you've just discovered how selfish you really are.  You work through that for a bit.

Then, you have kids, and once again, you discover just how selfish you (still) are.

I'm not sure it really ever ends.  :-)</description>
