Welcome to my blog! My name is Chris Hubbs, and I’m a man of many hats. Just a few:
- Husband: to Becky since 1998.
- Father: to Laura and Addison.
- Musician: worship leader at Noelridge Park Church from 2000 - 2008, at Imago Christi at Central Park 2008.
- Engineer: In my day job I write software for Rockwell Collins, Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. (disclaimer: all opinions here are my opinions, not theirs.) I’m also a Software DER, which means I help out with software certification stuff.
- Resident Geek: I maintain or help maintain a bunch of websites, and on occasion do freelance webdesign work at chrishubbsdesign.com.
- Reader: I always have a book going. My book lists for 2007 and 2008, complete with mini-reviews, are linked on the sidebar.
- Blog consumer: OK, so I’m subscribed to way to many blogs. Google Reader says 384 feeds at the moment. I’m sure I’ve added at least a couple today, and will add a couple more tomorrow. I’m interested in music, the arts, politics, and theology. I’m even more interested if you can get a couple of those to intersect in some cool way.
